Vivaldi’s Four Seasons occupies a very special place in the music world. Its dazzling display of solo violin writing and its colourful depiction of various scenes from the annual cycle of the seasons have made it an all-time favourite with audiences and violinists alike.
In this special concert we are delighted to welcome back one of Australia’s leading violinists, Paul Wright, recently returned to Perth after an extended residency at the Australian National Academy of Music in Melbourne. Paul will lead a brilliant Baroque String Ensemble in a concert that will also feature other works from 18th century Italy.
