Featuring some of the best young musical talent in Western Australia.

Music on the Terrace is proud to once again present a concert showcasing the rising stars of Western Australia’s music community. In the opening concert of our 2010 series we celebrate this musical talent in a wide-ranging program which includes some our leading ensembles, both choral and instrumental, as well as some outstanding solo performers. The concert begins with the rich and exciting sounds of the WAAPA Brass Ensemble, under the direction of David Elton. The fabulous choirs of Perth Modern School conducted by Celia Christmass make a welcome return to Rising Stars. Mezzo soprano Louise Fenbury’s glorious voice and some brilliant young pianists will help make this one of the most diverse and uplifting concerts of the year.
